How do you see this development? So far, Nigeria as a nation is progressing in human consciousness in rising to speak up against injustice, especially by the elite who are sincere in their spirit of defending the integrity of nationhood. But, the expected yields meant to advance us economically in line with the accelerating global society is regrettably lacking. This is because the democratic leadership that brought the governing institutions we have today, has been corrupt.
What should have positively impacted the nation has ruined its chances of competing with the global communities under this fourth industrial revolution. The world is currently advancing from the use of manpower to computer and artificial science or intelligence. The 25 years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria has not done anything meaningful to boost the nation’s access to the rapid global trend in modernisation.
