Birthdays, christenings, afterschool treats - founder Dougie Coulter's creations have attended more parties than he can even imagine and things are only getting bigger. From humble beginnings in the town in 1983 to his name being stocked in 25 stores across the country, Dougies Goodies is taking over Northern Ireland and anyone who's taken a bite of their treats will know why.

In 2022, the bakery was acquired by Frank and Georgina Warwick and with Dougie and his wife Christine still manning the ovens, they have been able to take a local hidden gem to rising glory across the country. Frank could have never imagined a casual conversation between himself and Dougie when picking up a birthday cake would have led to taking over the business in six short weeks, but as the new 'Chief Cake Taster' of the business, he has never looked back.
