Irish influencer Dominique Nugent has reflected on her pregnancy loss as she and her husband Paddy marked their daughter’s due date. Dominique, who focuses on fashion and travel content, told her followers back in February, when she was 16 weeks pregnant, that she had suffered a miscarriage . This weekend Dominique took to Instagram with a photo of a teddy bear from a memory box which contained items belonging to their daughter.

The Dublin-based social media figure can be seen in the image wearing a ring on her finger which has her daughter’s initials inscribed – WR for Wynter Reya. ‘We should be taking you home from the hospital was what I thought today. Those newborn cries I’ll never get to hear, can’t hold your hand, dress you up or even do your hair, first words, first steps, first days of school — all so cruelly taken.

‘Instead I have your memory box, the most valuable thing I own. Your tiny hand and footprints and the cardigan you wore, your teddy bear stands on my nightstand and today I hold it near. How I wish it was you I had here.

A post shared by Dominique Nugent 👸🏼 (@dominiquenugent89) ‘I shed the tears a little harder on the dates I fear the most. Always left wondering who you might have been. Forever our winter angel, our little Wynter Reya,’ she wrote.

The comments section of Dominique’s post saw her friends and followers commending her honesty and sending their sympathies to herself and Paddy. One person said: ‘Thinking of you bot.
