Pupils at Greengate Junior School will be getting into the Dave Day spirit on Friday, June 7 - the day before thousands of people come to the area to celebrate the life of the Hairy Biker. The school will be using a non-uniform day to encourage everyone to emulate Dave's famous fashion sense. A spokesperson from Greengate added: "We couldn’t be left out so we are celebrating his life here at school.
"[They] could dress wackily like Dave would, sport an amazing moustache like he did or do [their] own thing." The only price to be involved is to bring some chocolate into school to support the tombola and raffle at the upcoming Summer Fair..
