The former EastEnders actor, 46, said he gets asked to appear on Strictly Come Dancing every year, but he turns it down because it's simply 'not for him'.

Speaking to The Sun , the TV star revealed the reason why he would never agree to be on the beloved BBC show. In true Danny fashion, he told the newspaper: 'I get offered to do Strictly every year, and it's not for me. I've got no desire to be mincing around in sequins.



' Although it's definitely not going to be on a show that involves any kind of dancing, the father-of-three also admitted that he is still looking for his 'ultimate' career-defining role. He's taken on gritty dramas, baking shows, documentaries, soaps and gameshows - but there is one programme Danny Dyer (pictured in May) swears he will never appear on He mused: 'The obvious role I'd love to play is James Bond, you know, a cockney Bond. 'Or I would like to maybe have a go at Doctor Who, something that's been played by many different actors before and put my own spin on it, my own take on it.

' In a break from his usual roles, the soap star joined Robbie Williams and a band of Beefeat.
