Last month, Hayes released his EP "Sober Thoughts," which detailed his journey to recovery. Hayes told Fox News Digital he often writes about his personal experiences overcoming alcoholism so he can focus on maintaining his sobriety and encourage others who are dealing with substance abuse issues.
