Known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the beloved ITV soap, Sue bagged what she calls her "dream" job earlier this year - Mother Superior in the stage adaptation of Sister Act: The Musical. Appearing on the Lorraine show back in March, 60-year-old Sue discussed what her new role might mean for dear Eileen's future on the cobbles.
Seemingly keen to put fans' minds at ease, she confirmed: "Yes absolutely. I have a few months grace to do this job then I'll be back in there." The actress wound up her stint in Sister Act last month, but it appears she is currently taking a break from the Weatherfield drama , according to the Liverpool Echo.
In a recent social media video, she unveiled how she ran into a bit of trouble whilst soaking up the rays at the beach. Facing the camera and standing in tropical waters, Sue shared: "You know sometimes I think the sea likes to show us who's in charge, but it's certainly not us. Because it's just swallowed my flip flops.
