A sweet, little Cornish potager garden with a greenhouse café is described as a "very special place" and "perfect in every way" in reviews. Potager Garden Café, near Constantine serves vegetarian and vegan dishes in the heart of a community-led garden. At the turn of the century, hard work commenced to transform what was then an abandoned, overgrown site into the shape of a garden near .

As the decades have progressed it has become an outdoor haven with woodland, propagation and glass houses and its own café with plants for sale too. The café, while only able to seat around 40 people at most, has been praised by visitors with one, who discovered it in a book about the 'secret' gardens of , saying it "will not be a secret for long". Other reviews comment on the well-kept spaces around it and the café's fresh dishes, many of which are put together using produce grown in the surrounding gardens.



"People talk about visiting the café like it's coming to visit an old family friend, which is something I really love," says co-owner, Mark Harris. "It's relaxed, hopefully really welcoming and small enough that it's really personal. We believe in good old-fashioned hospitality and getting to know our customers.
