AS EXCITEMENT builds for Taylor Swift’s first concert at Anfield Stadium, one clothes boutique is giving fans the chance to meet the singer face-to-face – sort of. Wardrobe at the Cross, located on Neston High Street, will be inviting customers to pose with the pop superstar’s life-size cut-out ahead of her sold-out shows in Liverpool. The Reputation singer is expected to play to crowds of around 53,000 on Thursday, June 13, Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15.
Hil James, co-owner of the independent boutique, said the tongue-in-cheek event hopes to bring a bit of that buzz to visitors' shopping experience. “We wanted to bring a bit of the concert excitement into our store. “Sue [Byrne, co-owner] and I are both huge Swifties, and this event is a fun opportunity for Swifties to celebrate and capture memorable moments, all while exploring our latest fashion collections.
” Today (Wednesday, June 12), Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, from 10 am until 4:30 pm, new and existing customers will be able to stop by and have their picture taken with the life-size cut-out, whilst some of the singer’s greatest hits play in the background. Hil also says that those who share their picture on social media with the hashtag #swiftatthecross and tag @wardrobeatthecross will receive 10 per cent off in store on the day.
