A regular presenter for Good Morning Britain , Charlotte has swapped the cushty ITV studios for the madness of Ascot racecourse, where she will be chatting to excited onlookers, celebrities and members of the royal family . And Charlotte reckons the event is not just the bookies’ favourite – it’s hers too.

“It’s such an important event in the social calendar and there’s a real sense of history because it’s been going on for over 300 years,” explains Charlotte. “It’s one of those events that brings people together and I feel so lucky to be a part of it – it’s an amazing experience.” Charlotte and Mark Heyes reunite every year for Ascot.



They started presenting as a duo in 2017, when an outfit disaster solidified their working relationship. “The very first time I worked with Mark I managed to split my dress under the armpit, which is never a good look,” laughs Charlotte. “Luckily, he is the best person to have around in these situations because he’s a stylist and has a little sewing kit he carries around with him.
