CHADRON — Chadron State College recently announced four finalists for the Athletic Director position. The four finalists are Emannuel Reinsch, Ronald Palmer, Signe Coombs, and William Randolph Price. The candidates will interview on campus and participate in open forums for community members and alumni.
Palmer will interview June 20, Coombs will June 21, Price will interview June 24, and Reinsch will interview June 25. The first three open forums begin at noon and will be in the Scottsbluff Room of the Student Center. Reinsch's open forum is also at noon but located in the Bordeaux Room of the Student Center.
"We are excited to have four great candidates to be the next Athletic Director at Chadron State College," said CSC president Ron K. Patterson. "The search committee, which includes community members, alumni, and employees of the college, collaborated in a wonderful fashion to get us to this point and I thank them for their wonderful efforts.
" BASEBALL WESTCO drops pair at Grand Island The WESTCO Zephyrs were swept in a doubleheader in Grand Island on Sunday, 8-0 and 10-6. Jahrell Mendez, Traven Jackson and Moises Panduro all had two hits in the second game. WESTCO was held to three hits in the opening game.
The Zephyrs were also swept at Blair on Friday, 9-5 and 8-0. Lukah Schwery went 3-for-3 as Gering PVC rolled to an 11-1 win over Aurora on Friday night. Pioneers go 1-2 over weekend The Western Nebraska Pioneers were edged 3-1 on Sunday night in the third of a six-g.
