Bryson DeChambeau triumphed at the US Open, but he won't be going to the Olympics (Image: Getty) Bryson DeChambeau has vowed to make up for the blow of missing out on another Olympics in four years’ time. The American is on the crest of a wave after his stunning victory in the US Open at Pinehurst. However, his second major triumph wasn’t enough to propel him into the American team for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.

As a LIV Golf player, DeChambeau can only secure ranking points through the majors. And he hasn’t quite accrued enough to make the US party heading for France. A maximum of four players can represent any country in Olympic golf.
