A savvy Brit has turned a "knackered" narrowboat into a lush pad as fans clamour to book it. The user, known as @_JamaicaJamaica on Twitter, took to X (formerly ) to share pics of the space, which now features a chic living area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Set to make waves on Airbnb later this week, the boat – currently moored in East – boasts a cosy heating system, a shower, and even a turntable for vinyl lovers.
With clever storage solutions throughout, it's the ideal spot for a quirky city break. "Spent the last 6 months (in my spare time) renovating a knackered 50 ft narrowboat into a floating Air BnB as a side hustle," the DIY whizz posted on Monday (May 21). "Finally finished it.
" The post has since garnered plenty of attention on social media, with staycationers hoping to spend a night aboard the boat. Others focused more on the craftsmanship. "This is really cute," said one admirer.
