Terror returned to Barrackpore in West Bengal soon after the Lok Sabha polls got over as crude bombs were allegedly hurled in Bhatpara and Naihati on Saturday night to terrorise locals. One bomb was thrown targeting BJP worker's house and the other was hurled in front of the Trinamool Congress party office. Panic gripped the area at night due to the bombing.
Meanwhile, the TMC and BJP are blaming each other for the act. Visuals of bombs exploding were caught on CCTV cameras. The incumbent BJP crossed the halfway mark winning 10 seats and leading on 27.
The majority mark in the State Assembly is 31 out of 60 Assembly seats. Crowds erupted in cheer as former US President Donald Trump made his first public appearance since becoming a convicted felon. He entered UFC 302 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, just days after his conviction in New York, and was escorted to his cageside seat in grand fashion by UFC CEO Dana White.
India Today-Axis My India exit poll results showed that the Congress and the BJP are expected to win one Lok Sabha seat each in Goa. According to five exit polls, including India Today-Axis My India, the BJP-led NDA will likely win over 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Our poll of polls suggests that the NDA is returning with a bigger mandate of 379 seats against the 353 seats it won in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
