Owner Beth Jameson opened the fashion store for women in Saratoga Springs in 2005 down Broadway at the Algonquin Building. “I come from the corporate world, and decided that it was time to go out and open the boutique,” she said. “I went to college for communications and design and I always wanted to do it.
I just had to kind of save up enough money and get the courage to do it, and I'm really glad I did it.” The current 2,200-square-foot space holds fun clothing options for women from a dress covered in flower petals to sweaters with fun sayings. “We're not a designer label [store],” she said.
“We have smaller designers that make just different things.” Jameson has pieces from designers such as Stacy Bradley, who has an equestrian-themed line this year — perfect for a season when the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival is coming to the Spa City. Jameson also offers a ton of accessories for people to dress up their clothing choices from jewelry to shoes and some options for horse racing fans, including fascinators and hats at reasonable prices for the Belmont festival June 6-9.
“We want to be the one-stop shop,” she said regarding Belmont. “So we have the dress, the shoes, the jewelry and the fascinators and hats. I think we're going to get what we did for the Kentucky Derby.
Everybody kind of came in for the accessory, the hat, the dress, the jumper. I think people are going to get decked out this year.” She said her goal with the business is to find uni.
