Take a closer at some stunning evening gowns that graced Binibining Pilipinas' stage Binibining Pilipinas, the longest-running national pageant in the Philippines, celebrated its 60th anniversary last July 7, 2024 at the Araneta Coliseum. To mark the milestone, the organization gathered its former candidates from past editions and brought them to the stage, staying true to its mantra "Once a Binibini, always a Binibini." The highlight of the evening was the coronation of its newest set of queens.

Before the announcement of this year's winners, Filipinas from different parts of the archipelago battle it out on the stage through different rounds of the competition. The most fashionable one, of course, is the evening gown segment. Not only does it celebrate the grace, beauty, and poise of the candidates, but the segment also puts the spotlight on the fashion creatives as they merge the Binibinis’ stories and their artistry in one stunning garb.



Below are some of our favorite looks from the night's evening gown competition. Ghelo Garcia’s gown for Abra’s representative Myrna was about sheer illusion and celebrating a woman’s body. Pampanga’s Jasmin wowed the crowd with her bedazzled gown with a periwinkle skirt by Harvey Cenit.

Irridescent was Zambales’ Christal in her mermaidcore Rian Fernandez creation. Pila, Laguna’s Trisha channeled the goddess Mayari with her pink lace gown by Louie Pangilinan. Manila Bulletin’s Readers’ Choice award winner, Caloocan’s Ki.
