REAL Housewives fans have slammed Bethenny Frankel’s recent behavior as completely tone-deaf. The 53-year-old reality star called out Chanel for denying her entrance to their store and claimed it was due to her appearance. Bethenny chronicled her shopping experience on Instagram, explaining how she first tried to enter in a T-shirt and then again in a glam ensemble.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum said she was in Chicago on Tuesday afternoon and tried to go shopping at Chanel but wasn’t allowed in. She was in casual attire of a white T-shirt as she had just come from the plane. In a video posted to her social media, Bethenny said security at the store slightly opened the door to ask if she had an appointment and then turned her away when she revealed she didn’t.
She said she felt like she was being “treated like an interloper” and was surprised she couldn’t just walk into the store. “I could easily call one of my salespeople and get on this list,” she wrote in the caption. “That’s besides the point.
I was straight off a plane in a sweaty t-shirt and not dolled up or looking wealthy.” Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel posted online about her upsetting experience trying to shop at a Chanel store in Chicago this past week. On Tuesday, Bethenny claimed she tried to enter a Chanel store in Chicago but was denied entry.
She said it was due to the fact that she didn't have an appointment but suggested it was because she was wearin.
