While you might have paid a lot for your business or even first-class flight - or cashed in all your points - everybody loves a freebie. Finding your seat and rifling through your amenities kit is one of the most exciting parts of getting on a plane. While you don't often get much in economy these days, here are the latest amenities kits being handed out in airline's premium cabins.

The Olympics are just around the corner, and Qantas is celebrating their new direct Perth to Paris route with a new amenity kit and menus. Chic limited-edition pyjamas with matching French-inspired amenity kits will be on offer for Business Class customers travelling on the new Paris route. Created by Australian designer Martin Grant, the navy pyjamas display the journey between Australia and France.



Qantas' in-flight menu will also be getting a makeover, curated by Qantas Creative Director of Food, Beverage and Service, Neil Perry. Bouillabaisse of snapper and Skull Island prawns; pithivier of chicken and tarragon with onion puree; and chocolate mousse with caramel poached pears, almonds and chantilly cream; will be served up to celebrate the start of the new Paris flights. "French cuisine is made up of so many amazing classic dishes, we spent a lot of time developing a menu that captures the balance of richness and freshness in French flavours whilst also keeping an element of familiarity that our customers love," says Perry.
