MasterChef’s 20th birthday celebrations will conclude with the grand final on Wednesday - where the remaining four cooks out of a starting line-up of 58 will do culinary battle. After seven weeks of intense competition, only one can win the coveted trophy and title. But will it be saleswoman Abi, vet Brin, circus performer Chris or farmer Louise? One contestant will leave the competition. And then, in time-honoured fashion, the final trio will each prepare a sumptuous three-course menu for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace, who will judge them on taste, presentation and originality.
Finally, one of them will be named as this year’s champion. But who will triumph? The proof will be in the pudding..
