How do you see the conduct of the election that led to your victory as the National Chairman of the Phase 2 Ex agitators? The election was peaceful, free and fair. For me, what transpired at the venue of the election that took place recently is a clear sign for all the leadership of the phase that we have decided to come together as one whole unit to promote unity and form a united front to pursue the goals of the phase which is to ensure the complete rehabilitation of all former militants in the Niger Delta in a way that would engender peace and security in the region for progress and development. I want to thank all the leaders and the entire phase 2 members who saw the reason for this election to be conducted and acted accordingly.
For those who don’t know, it must be noted that the phase has vision and by the grace of God Almighty and with the experience of the leaders around me in unity, we will achieve them all. What words do you have for your opponents? We are all one. We are all individually working for the collective good of our people.
They have their ideas with regards to how to move the initiative forward. I have mine too but in the end, the people chose me to lead them. I don’t have any opponents, please, we are all one.
Those who contested with me are my friends and co-leaders in the phase and I know that they have one or two things that they will want to contribute in our collective efforts to move the phase forward and I promise you that in the end, we wil.
