Hounslow, get ready for a weekend of exciting events, music, performances, good food and cultural enrichment. This month sees the return of the Hounslow Mela on Saturday, June 22, and the Refugee Week Festival on Sunday, June 23. Brought to you by the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA) and Bollywood Groove Events, the family-friendly events will see entertainment and fun provided for all ages, while celebrating incredible cultures.

Please note that no pets or alcohol are allowed at either of the events. Attendees can bring outside food only if essential for dietary needs. On Saturday, June 22, the popular Hounslow Mela 2024 returns.



Cranford Community College will host this spectacular event, which promises to be a melting pot of music, dance, food, and crafts. Organised by ACAA and BollyGroove Events, the Hounslow Mela is expected to attract over 10,000 attendees. This annual large-scale outdoor festival is not just a celebration but also a charitable event, with all proceeds going to ACAA to support refugees and migrants in the UK.

The festival boasts an impressive line-up of some of the biggest names in the Asian entertainment scene: The Mela promises a plethora of activities and attractions for all ages - from live music and dance performances to delicious street food stalls and an impressive shopping bazaar where you can browse an incredible selection of jewellery, fashion, arts and crafts, as well as jaw-dropping circus performances, funfair rides and much.
