A Morgan Hill tradition dating back to 1876, this annual Fourth of July festival will feature a Patriotic Sing and Family Music Fest on July 3, plus a freedom run, car cruise, parade and festival featuring live music and 9:30 p.m. fireworks on July 4.

The Marin County Fair will host nightly fireworks shot from three barges over the lagoon in a low-level, choreographed extravaganza of music, rockets, Roman candles, comets, meteoric showers and spectacular bursting cascades — all reflected in the water below. m. July 4, Atwater. Celebrate the Fourth with a Run for Independence, a parade through the Merced County city of Atwater, a festival at Ralston Park, and a concert and fireworks show at Castle Air Base Parade Grounds.
