Boys’ basketball regular season: St. Joseph-Ogden 73, Unity 72 (OT) If you were in the Rocket Center and felt the atmosphere of this rivalry game, you know it was undoubtedly the best game of the year. Led by Logan Smith’s 29 points, the Spartans came back from an early deficit to take a 10-point halftime lead.

The Rockets clawed their way back and forced overtime thanks to Henry Thomas’ 27 points and Dane Eisenmenger’s buzzer-beating, game-tying, crowd-erupting three-pointer. It came down to one missed free throw, and SJ-O claimed at least a share of the Illini Prairie Conference title with the win.
