Pune: Two engineers have been cheated of Rs 1.81 crore collectively by online fraudsters who promised them handsome return on investment in shares. A techie (46) from Pimple Saudagar lodged a complaint with the Sangvi police on Friday saying that online fraudsters cheated him of Rs 91.
60 lakh between March and May this year. Similarly, a retired automobile engineer (62) from Pimpri lodged a complaint with the police on Friday saying that cybercrooks cheated him of Rs 89.61 lakh between Feb and May in a similar fashion.
