The climax to the Ambani-Merchant wedding festivities is finally here. Last weekend, the sangeet (musical night) festivities for the Ambani wedding attracted the who’s who of Bollywood, performing to the tunes of international heartthrob . Guest dressed in their traditional best, looked like Indian royalties at the chic sangeet soiree.
Leading the sartorial charge were the in-house Ambani ladies, looking resplendent in each of their couture ensembles. Starting with Billionaire heiress, Isha Ambani, who wore a custom-made Schiaparelli sari, especially designed by Daniel Roseberry for the occasion. The royal blue sari, paired with a sculpted silver blouse looked contemporary yet traditional on the Ambani daughter.
Shlokha Ambani (the older daughter-in-law) took inspiration from the Bollywood archives. Dressed in a 2024 version of the iconic outfit from the song, ‘Bole Chudiyan’ from K3G, Shlokha even got the vote of approval from the OG wearer of the lehenga: Kareena Kapoor Khan. Both outfit designed by designer Manish Malhotra looked timeless, despite the two-decade of time difference in between.
Bride Radhika Merchant had two outfit changes for the night (naturally). Her first look was a pastel, heavy-deauty lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. For the rest of after party with JB, Radhika opted for a metallic chainmail sari by Manish Malhotra.
