Thursday, June 27, 2024 In a time of economic uncertainty and a complex geopolitical environment, over 1,600 global leaders from various sectors convened at the World Economic Forum’s 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024 in Dalian, China. This gathering aimed to build partnerships and highlight innovations and solutions that could drive global economic recovery. This year’s theme, “Next Frontiers for Growth,” focused on the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Attendees participated in high-level discussions and workshops to foster cooperation and explore new avenues for robust growth. The meeting also provided an update on the economic outlook for China and Asia, a region that continues to drive two-thirds of global growth. “To drive future economic growth, we must embrace innovation and foster collaboration across sectors, regions, nations and cultures to create a more peaceful, inclusive society and resilient future,” said Klaus Schwab , Founder and Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum.
