And for the first time in over a decade, the sparkling Macy’s Fireworks will move west, from the East River to the Hudson River.

You’re welcome, New Jersey. Those with annual plans may have to switch it up a bit to see the annual fireworks display, which hasn’t been on the Hudson since July 2013. Here’s where to book a spot to watch the fireworks show and party on the Fourth.



Edge at Hudson Yards The highest outdoor sky deck in New York City will host a breathtaking Fourth of July Celebration. From 7:30 p.m.

to 11:00 p.m., ticket holders will be granted private access to explore Edge’s indoor and outdoor viewing areas 100 stories high while enjoying fireworks displays from across New York City and New Jersey.

Each ticket will include an open bar for guests 21 years or older along with unlimited appetizers from 8 p.m. to 10 p.

m.. Additionally, the evening will feature a live DJ set until 11 p.

m. $400, edgenyc.com North River Lobster Company The city’s only floating lobster restaurant will host its annual Independence Day party cruise.

On board, a DJ will be spinning all night as guests sail along the New York Harbor and pull into position for a perfect view under the fireworks. The ticket includes a buffet dinner, a whole 1 1/4 lb lobster plus sides, and a standard open bar. $34.
