Monday, June 17, 2024 Vivid Sydney 2024 Comes to a Spectacular Close Tonight marks the grand finale of Vivid Sydney 2024, following 23 remarkable days and nights of light, music, food, and ideas. The festival, which has brilliantly transformed Sydney’s harbor, iconic landmarks, and cityscape, will dim its lights at 11 PM. Vivid Sydney 2024, recognized as the Southern Hemisphere’s premier multi-artform festival, showcased a blend of the world’s most innovative artists, culinary talents, contemporary musicians, and thought leaders under the theme of ‘Humanity.

’ Highlights and Reflections Steve Cox, CEO of Destination NSW, expressed his admiration for the festival: “Witnessing Sydney come alive through the participation of both locals and visitors from around the globe has been incredible. The festival has exceeded expectations, energizing the city and celebrating Sydney’s creative, entertainment, and hospitality industries.” Festival Director Gill Minervini highlighted several standout moments, including performances by Dog Trumpet and the Nest installation by Leila Jeffreys and Melvin J.
