Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Virgin Atlantic has announced a significant addition to its senior leadership team today, with Becky Woodmansee appointed as Chief People Officer, effective December 2, 2024. In her new role, Becky will focus on creating inclusive experiences that energize Virgin Atlantic’s workforce and align with its vision of becoming the most beloved travel company. Reporting directly to CEO Shai Weiss, she will play a key role within the Virgin Atlantic Leadership Team.

Becky joins Virgin Atlantic from Whitbread plc, where she served as People Director of Premier Inn & Restaurants UK for the past five years. With experience at companies like NatWest, Unilever, Santander, and Home Retail Group plc, Becky brings a wealth of knowledge and a people-first approach that will drive collaboration and enhance performance at Virgin Atlantic. Becky Woodmansee said: “I’ve long admired the people first ethos at Virgin Atlantic and the vital link between performance and delivering an elevated customer experience.
