Monday, May 20, 2024 Visitors to the coastal town of Da Nang in Vietnam will have another enchanting experience with the Danang International Fireworks Festival, which is set to light up the sky from June 8 to July 13, celebrating the arrival of summer. The festival will be staged against the backdrop of the Han River and Novotel Danang Premier Han River, featuring the “Made In Unity” theme to inspire communities with messages of peace, friendship, and humanity. This year, teams from eight countries — France, Italy, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, United States, and Vietnam — will participate.
Each night, these teams will present a 20-minute firework display based on various themes, including: The opening ceremony and grand finale will be broadcast live on Vietnamese TV, with winners receiving US$35,000 (1.2 million baht). First staged in 2008, this annual fireworks festival aims to establish Da Nang as a Fireworks Festival City and a top destination in Vietnam and Asia.
