Friday, June 14, 2024 Vietnam Airlines has successfully implemented Amadeus’ enhanced passenger service system (PSS) technology along with a suite of other related technology solutions, marking a significant milestone in the carrier’s ongoing digital transformation. Amadeus’ Altéa PSS provides Vietnam Airlines with comprehensive inventory, reservation, ticketing, departure control, and digital solutions, ensuring end-to-end efficiencies and enhancing the user experience. This system equips Vietnam Airlines with cutting-edge technology capabilities in aviation and tourism, significantly improving operational efficiency.

Altéa PSS enables Vietnam Airlines to deliver modern, efficient reservation services for front-line employees, assisting passengers with purchasing, changing, and using the airline’s services. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines is transitioning to the Xchange Payment Platform (XPP) from Outpayce, Amadeus’ payments business. This platform allows the airline to easily accept a wide range of card and alternative payment methods from travelers, facilitating global payments by connecting to a diverse network of specialist partners.
