Wednesday, July 3, 2024 Vietjet’s recent announcement of new routes to China and South Korea signals a strategic move to enhance regional connectivity and bolster economic and cultural exchanges. The Vietnamese carrier introduced a new route between Nha Trang and Daegu, South Korea, while also inaugurating a route from Ho Chi Minh City to Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province in China, on July 1, 2024. This expansion is expected to significantly influence the airline travel industry by increasing competition and providing more travel options for passengers.

To celebrate the launch of these new routes, Vietjet initiated a special promotional week from July 1 to July 7, 2024. During this period, fares start from INR5,555 for one-way trips across the Indian network, subject to terms and conditions. These promotional fares are available for travel from August 22, 2024, to May 25, 2025.



Passengers can book these fares through the Vietjet Air website or mobile app. This promotional strategy aims to attract a larger customer base and increase awareness of the new routes. The new routes will operate four round-trip flights weekly, enhancing connectivity and fostering regional cooperation.

This expansion follows successful launches of routes to Shanghai and Chengdu, further solidifying Vietjet’s presence in these key markets. In India, Vietjet operates 29 weekly round-trip flights, directly connecting Vietnam with New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Kochi. Since its inaugural fli.
