Tuesday, May 21, 2024 Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat company, has introduced NexusWave, a fully managed connectivity service powered by a ‘bonded’ multi-dimensional network. This service provides high-speed connectivity, unlimited data, worldwide coverage, and a “secure by design” infrastructure. NexusWave, delivered by a single provider, seamlessly integrates multiple high-speed networks in real time, including Global Xpress (GX) Ka-band, low-Earth orbit (LEO) services, and as-available coastal LTE service, with an additional layer of L-band for resilience.

This ensures fast, always-on connectivity. The solution also features enterprise-grade firewall security trusted by global enterprises and governments. NexusWave is preparing for the future by integrating the next-generation ultra-high capacity, high-speed ViaSat-3 Ka-band service, which is anticipated to be operational in 2025.
