A US airport has found a new way for travelers to let off some stress this Fourth of July. As the summer holiday is one of the biggest travel seasons of the year, one airport has found a creative way to remind passengers that they should listen to the flight crew at all times. Tampa International Airport posted on social media that they were encouraging travelers to boo at people who immediately stood up once the airplane had arrived at the gate.

“Normalize booing when people stand up the second the plane lands,” a humorous post on the airport’s X , formerly Twitter , account reads. A spokesperson for the airport told NBC affiliate WFLA the reason behind the social media post. “While we post funny memes and comments about aviation and the travel experience, any official comments about passenger safety should come from the airlines themselves,” the spokesperson said.

“We always encourage passengers to follow the instructions of their highly trained flight crews.” The post was met with mixed reactions. "Yes, this should be a thing," one excited X user said adding that they should expand the parameters.

"The same for those that push up the aisle and don’t wait their turn or let off people with tight connections first. Also to the people that sit up front but put their bags halfway back." "The ones that irritate me is those that wait until the aisle clears out in front of them then decide get up get their carry on taking their time and holding everyone behind them.
