Friday, June 7, 2024 Sri Lanka Tourism aims to attract Indian tourists with B2B roadshows in Indore, Vadodara, and Surat, highlighting diverse attractions. The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and Sri Lanka Convention Bureau are set to organize a B2B Roadshow and Networking evening across three cities—Indore, Vadodara, and Surat—on June 10, 12, and 14, 2024. These events aim to showcase Sri Lanka as an attractive destination for tourists throughout the year and to boost visitor numbers from Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat by showcasing the country’s vast tourism potential to these critical Indian markets.

Guided by the esteemed Mr. Harin Fernando, the Honorable Minister for Tourism, Lands, Sports, and Youth Affairs, the delegation will be headed by Mr. Krishantha Fernando, General Manager of the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau.



The delegation, which includes over 40 tourism stakeholders such as Destination Management Companies, top-tier hotels and resorts, homestays, tour operators, and other service providers from Sri Lanka, will participate in B2B exchanges with industry counterparts in each city. The roadshow series will serve as a platform to discuss Sri Lanka’s tourism vision, its new slogan, and upcoming plans for tourism growth. It will also offer local delegates a chance to network with key influencers, corporate leaders, MICE agents, trade associations, and other service providers.
