Wednesday, June 12, 2024 Trustwell, the leading provider of software and services in compliance, food safety, and transparency for the food and supplement industry, is proud to announce that their renowned consulting team has been selected by LSG Sky Chefs to develop a scalable traceability recordkeeping plan in alignment with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Section 204. The project will include a pilot using the FoodLogiQ Traceability platform. This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to advancing food safety and traceability in the airline catering industry.
Julie McGill, VP of Supply Chain Strategy & Insights and FSMA 204 expert, will lead Trustwell’s Traceability team on this project. The initiative includes on-site workshops at LSG Sky Chefs facilities, assessments, and educational sessions with key stakeholders to promote FSMA 204 compliance through strategic innovations and enhanced operations. Trustwell has recorded 200 million Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) and has significantly influenced national traceability policies.
Their regulatory experts and professionals, supported by FoodLogiQ products, have participated in FDA pilots that led to FSMA 204 and have helped define the Produce Traceability Initiative standards. They are now poised to lead the next phase of traceability advancements across the supply chain..
