Friday, June 28, 2024 Porter Airlines launches seasonal direct flights from Montreal to LA and San Francisco, starting June 27 and 28, enhancing travel to California. Porter Airlines is introducing two new temporary direct flights from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The direct service from YUL to LAX will operate four times a week starting on June 27, and the YUL to SFO service will begin on June 28 with three weekly flights.

These services will continue until October 26, connecting the eastern part of Canada directly to the bustling cities of California. Travelers flying these routes will experience Porter’s renowned hospitality, which includes complimentary premium snacks, free beer and wine served in actual glassware, and high-speed WiFi at no cost. PorterReserve ticket holders receive complimentary, fresh, healthy meals, while those opting for PorterClassic can purchase meals separately.



The flights will utilize Porter’s advanced Embraer E195-E2 jets, which are configured with comfortable two-by-two seating, eliminating the middle seat. The E195-E2 is recognized as the greenest in its class, being 65% quieter and 25% more fuel efficient than its predecessors.
