Thursday, June 6, 2024 Tourism Malaysia is ramping up its marketing efforts in Taiwan by taking part in the Taipei Tourism Expo (TTE), aiming to swiftly increase its market share. From May 31 to June 4, 2024, at the Taipei World Trade Centre, Malaysia seeks to establish itself as the top choice for Taiwanese tourists looking for a leisurely paradise with unique offerings through this four-day event. At the expo, Malaysia will introduce six new special interest packages designed to attract Taiwanese travelers and boost demand.
These packages include the Sarawak Delta Geopark & Gawai Packages, Dive into the Unimaginable Packages, Houseboat Packages, Unimaginable Golf Packages, Coffee Experience, and Malaysia Birdwatching Paradise, all tailored to showcase Malaysia’s diverse attractions. Supporting these efforts, a group of industry partners—Richmond Travel & Tours, Lion Travel Service Co., Come Best Tour Ltd.
, and Malaysia’s budget airline, Air Asia—will operate from Malaysia’s booth. They will assist in promoting and selling these enticing travel packages. Additionally, the cultural group “Selendang Perak” will perform various traditional dances and music, representing Malaysia’s rich cultural tapestry.
Following the expo, Tourism Malaysia plans to collaborate with local universities to share its cultural wealth with Taiwanese students through experiential learning and cultural exchanges. Furthermore, the Malaysia Truly Asia Travel Carnival will be held from Ju.
