In collaboration with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA), the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), and the United States Customs and Border Protection (USCBP), the airport authority shared travel tips for the summer months. The airport expects over 160,000 passengers per day during peak travel days, marking an 8% increase from 2023.

Additionally, the busiest summer days will see more than 1,100 flights, a 3% rise from last year. While July and August are the peak months, June has already seen a rise in travelers, with high volumes expected to continue into September. Passengers are encouraged to utilize digital tools to streamline their travel experience during peak periods: Travelers should continue to arrive at the airport three hours before international flights and two hours before domestic flights.
