Today (July 10th), Ryanair, the leading airline in the UK, proudly announced a significant milestone, having transported more than 30 million passengers via Birmingham Airport since initiating services in 1987. Originally the pioneer of low-cost air travel at this hub, Ryanair has expanded from a solitary path to/from Knock to a vast network of 50 routes linking 17 European countries.

This growth is supported by an investment of $700 million in 7 aircraft stationed at Birmingham, sustaining over 2400 jobs locally. For this summer season, Ryanair is launching its most extensive schedule to date at Birmingham Airport. The schedule features over 400 weekly flights covering 50 routes, which include nine exciting new destinations: Agadir, Berlin, Budapest, Marrakesh, Paphos, Paris, Seville, Tirana, and Valencia.
