Ever dreamed of moving overseas? If you've thought about it, these cities which have the best quality of life in Europe , might just tempt you to do it. The EU Commission asked residents in 83 cities across Europe a series of questions about their quality of life. Despite the survey being run by the EU, the winning city wasn't a destination in the bloc, although several EU spots did make the list.

Braga, Portugal Braga is an underrated holiday destination in Portugal and it's often overlooked in favour of Lisbon and Porto. However, the pretty city is a fantastic holiday destination and a pretty great place to live as well. Around 94 percent of residents said they were happy living there.
(Image: Getty) Link copied 8. Rostock, Germany A coastal city in northern Germany, Rostock is a fantastic place for children and older people to live. More than 90 percent of residents were happy living there while it ranked highest for job satisfaction.
