Tuesday, May 21, 2024 While observing the festivity of spring, The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa offers newly launched seasonal menu offerings at TRIBUTE, the fine dining restaurant of the hotel. The menus stay authentic to make delightful food inspired by a blend of the true flavors of Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana, lightheartedly dubbed as Tex-Lex cuisine. Gonzalo Campos, Executive chef and his skilled team have considerately prepared these dishes by obtaining ingredients from local purveyors, like Houston Dairymaids, Prestige Oysters, and Gilbert’s Tortillas.

Campos, the Executive chef, shares his desire for local ingredients by saying at TRIBUTE that they relish to have great relationships with local providers. They offer the seasonal ingredients that are the freshest with a local story to tell and toil day and night to bring that headlong in every menu they create. This commitment to quality and genuineness is what sets TRIBUTE different from others.



TRIBUTE is located on the first level of The Houstonian Hotel, features extensive windows from where one can see the interesting landscaping and the historic Live Oak tree on the hotel grounds. The lovely decoration and the rich wood and marble touches all through the dining room augments the refined atmosphere of the restaurant. Visitors can spoil themselves in relaxed seating in the main dining area or go for a more private setting in the Wine Room.
