PARENTS on the lookout for affordable ways to entertain their little ones during school break might be in luck. This clever hack will allow kids to enter the UK's top theme park for free this summer . The largest theme park in the UK, covering 550 acres and boasting 40 rides, has unveiled a little bargain deal.

The Alton Towers has the perfect offer for families which lets kids aged zero to 15 receive a free water park ticket. Anyone booking a short stay at the park from July 20 to September 1 can enjoy this perk and lots more without lightening your wallet. The promotion costs £56 per person but you have only until July 7 to snap up the bargain price.

During your short break, you will receive an "unforgettable" overnight stay at one of the six accommodations - complete with free breakfast, golf and car parking. The offer also includes exclusive early ride time on Nemesis Reborn , which has been overhauled after 30 years, and on The Curse at Alton Manor. The freebies don't end here as children under 15 can swim at the water park for free.

However, the tempting promotion doesn't include entry tickets to the theme park itself - they can be purchased from £29 online. If you're planning on visiting Alton Towers this year, then there are lots of new rides you can expect to see. This includes Nemesis Reborn , which was introduced in 1994 and has returned just in time for the park's opening this year.

A new project dubbed Project Ocean is to soon open at the park, as well, althoug.
