Though they don't charge a tourist tax, the price for food and hotels are sky-high. According to the data, average hotel prices sit around $190 per night, and the cost of a pint of beer is over $12. Another city that's notorious for high prices is Rome, Italy's capital city.
The city's tourist tax is a whopping $12 per person per night. Germany's capital city is a popular place to visit, but from a cost perspective, isn't the most tourist-friendly. Though it's known for its vibrant nightlife, a meal out is about $22 while a pint of beer is around $7.
