IF you're looking for the ultimate summer day out in Ireland, look no further than this beautiful farm. Wexford Lavender Farm is the perfect place to liven up your Instagram feed. The busy spot is a popular place with both adults and children, with many workshops and events taking place.

Set in the heart of the North Wexford countryside, you can not only visit the farm but also purchase a range of their products. The farm is open from Tuesdays to Sundays in June, July, and August. It is only open on Saturdays and Sunday in September.



The Lavender Farm has been family owned by multiple generations since 1950. There is a cafe located onsite named the Purple Haze Cafe which is in a renovated stone and brick building, and is believed to have been a host to a small school in the late 18th Century. The cafe offers breakfast , lunch, snacks and coffee, seating up to 65 people.

Work was completed on converting the stables in 2013, and the farm opened in 2014. It had been a diary farm but was changed to focus on growing lavender, beet and barley. It also hosts sheep and dry stock beef cattle.

The farm is registered with the Organic Trust Ireland, and the lavender is grown organically with no chemical fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides. Visitors must remain within marked areas as the farm is in operation. The farm has seen a huge variation of new additives, including the addition of the Woodland Warriors and Enchanted Wood which was added in 2019.
