The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) aspires to make Thailand the top choice for LGBTQ+ travelers worldwide. TAT recognizes that the LGBTQ+ community represents tourists with higher spending power.
They tend to travel more frequently and stay longer than the average tourist, significantly boosting market opportunities and the value of Thai products and services. According to data from LGBT Capital, Thailand ranked fourth globally in 2023 for generating the highest revenues from the LGBTQ+ community. TAT anticipates that over 860,000 individuals will participate in various Pride Month events, with an estimated economic impact of at least 4.

In collaboration with the private sector, TAT will organize several Pride events, including the Colorful Pride Festival in Chiang Mai from May 25 to June 30, the Bangkok Pride Festival 2024 from May 31 to June 4, and the Pride Nation Samui International Pride Festival from June 24 to 29.
