DREAMING of Greece's charming towns, secluded coves and pearly white beaches? We've found some lesser-known Greek islands that still offer holidays under £450pp, hundreds cheaper than its more famous sister islands, like Santorini and Crete . Greece has recently been voted " best value destination by Brits ", dethroning Spain. Greece took the top spot, with more than 94 per cent of thousands of Brits agreeing.

The Post Office City's Cost Barometer recently supported this, naming Athens the most affordable destination. Another study by Which? revealed that Klymnos, near Kos, Thassos and Lefkada , are the " cheapest for package holidays this summer ". Santorini, Corfu, and Mykonos are the most popular islands, and self-catered holidays this summer cost over £550pp.

Elsewhere, we've spotted the cheapest deals in Lesvos , Kefalonia and Thasos — the only catch is that they have departures within the next month. Thassos was revealed as an underrated destination with surprisingly cheap deals for this summer. The island is said to be home to some of the country's "most picturesque" towns.

Lesvos and Kefalonia are also home to crystal clear waters, endless miles of coastline and the traditional Greek charm. The biggest difference is that these islands have a more relaxed vibe and fewer tourists. In fact, they are said to be some of the best to visit if you're looking for a quiet holiday with kids.

That said, they all have plenty of bars and restaurants, so adults won't be disappoi.
