Thursday, June 13, 2024 Stadler is showcasing its newest FLIRT electrical multiple unit (EMU) trains designed for Serbian Railways at Rail Business Days. These 18 advanced vehicles will significantly enhance regional transportation across Serbia. Longstanding Partnership Delivers Enhanced Passenger Comfort This latest order builds upon a successful track record of collaboration between Stadler and Serbian Railways.

The partnership began with the delivery of 21 FLIRTs in 2014, followed by three high-speed KISS trains in 2015. Both models have been lauded for their exceptional comfort and reliability. The new FLIRTs were engineered by Stadler’s Prague office and are currently under construction at their Siedlce plant in Poland.



Eight of the trains have already been delivered to Serbia, with the first two undergoing passenger trial runs.
