Tuesday, June 11, 2024 Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar greeted his wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York, thrilling fans and travelers ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup India vs. Pakistan match. In response to a special request from Merlin Entertainments’ Madame Tussauds New York, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar eagerly agreed to create a memorable moment for his fans and travelers.

To mark the arrival of his wax figure in New York City, Tendulkar greeted his widely acclaimed wax replica just before the highly anticipated ICC Men’s T20 World Cup India vs. Pakistan match on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Fans and travelers were thrilled to see Tendulkar stand beside his meticulously crafted wax figure, originally unveiled in 2014.



Tendulkar’s remarkable career and lasting influence on the sport have been honored by Madame Tussauds multiple times, beginning with his first wax figure in London in 2009. Since then, five additional figures have been created to celebrate his achievements. Known affectionately as the “Master Blaster,” Tendulkar has captivated cricket fans and travelers worldwide with his extraordinary skill and sportsmanship.
