RYANAIR is launching a new route between the UK and a winter sun holiday hotspot. The budget airline will launch a twice-weekly service from Newcastle Airport to Marrakesh later this year. Direct services will start operating between the two cities from October 27, 2024.
The twice-weekly services will operate every Wednesday and Sunday. Outbound services on a Wednesday will leave Newcastle Airport at 1.35pm before arriving in Morocco at 6.
35pm. The return flights will then leave Marrakesh at 7pm, landing back in the UK at 10pm. Flight times for Sunday services are a little different, with outbound flights from the UK departing at 7am.
Sunday return flights will then leave Morocco at 12.25pm, arriving back in the UK four hours later at 3.25pm.
The Marrakesh route will mark the airline's 19 th destination from Newcastle Airport . Tickets are already on sale, with one-way fares starting from £59.99 per person.
Temperatures in Morocco have been known to reach 35C in October - although temperatures are likely to be somewhere between 24C and 30C.
